Tradition counts for everything. Since 1959, so for more than 40 years, EOFRUIT has been producing fruit of the very highest quality. It became a member of the VOG in the same year. Its 330 members cultivate a total of 440 hectares, of which EOFRUIT produces an average of 24,600 tonnes of apples every year, all of which are grown in accordance with the strict AGRIOS production regulations, and 85% of which conform to the EUREP-GAP standard.

EOFRUIT employs 60 members of staff, 16 of whom are full-time and 44 are employed on a seasonal basis in the packaging department. Tried and trusted methods are the cornerstones of production. This co-operative specializes in 6 highly successful varieties which comprise almost 90% of the harvest: Gala, Golden Delicious, the Stark family, Granny Smith, Braeburn and Fuji.

The co-operative's warehouse area covers 32,500 m2. It houses the very latest technology, which includes the highly advanced sorting system with an automatic diameter reader and 8 packaging lines. EOFRUIT is also a market leader in storage technology. 10 of its 55 CA (controlled atmosphere) storage units are equipped with cutting edge DCA storage technology. 5 loading ramps ensure that every load is dispatched efficiently to the correct customer.
