The cooperative Grufrut group is legally binding since 2017. It has around 610 members who supplied 65.000.000 kg of fruit in 2021.

The cooperative Grufrut group was created from the merger of three cooperatives: Grufrut (Pineta/Laives), ESO (Bronzolo) and Neufrucht (Egna). Already in 2010 Grufrut and ESO had set the course for the future. The idea: create a joint market presence as a larger unit. In 2017 another merger took place. With the incorporation of Neufrucht cooperative, Grufrut group is now one of the biggest cooperatives of VOG.

The apples of the cooperative are grown on fields between Bolzano and Salorno, the company office is in Bronzolo.
