A super hero taste: Giga® and RedPop® alongside Superman and Supergirl
Two legendary characters, two apples with distinctive characteristics: on the one hand, Giga®, the large, generous apple, ideal for sharing, perfect for a ‘Share Me’ moment; on the other, RedPop®, small, sweet and practical, the ideal choice for a ‘Snack Me’ moment. Two ways to enjoy apples. Two different souls united for a summer set to be truly super! The partnership between the VOG Consortium and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products (WBDGCP) has been renewed, with Giga® and RedPop® bringing consumers the strength and charm of iconic Super Heroes such as Superman and Supergirl.
Following last year’s popularity, Giga® has confirmed its extended partnership themed to Superman, while RedPop®, the rebel with a sweet heart, is launching its first collaboration with Supergirl, coinciding with the release of DC Studios’ new film, “Supergirl,” releasing in cinemas at the end of June. One thing is certain: two ways to enjoy apples will accompany a summer of irresistible flavours, with Giga® perfect for sharing and RedPop® ideal as a snack.
“We are delighted to confirm the extended partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products,” comments Hannes Tauber, VOG Marketing Manager. “Our campaigns are designed to be engaging and innovative, which is why we chose to join forces with two beloved Super Heroes, Superman and Supergirl. Not only do they confirm the disruptive spirit of our initiatives, but they also highlight the unmistakable characteristics of our products: the might and generosity of Giga® and the lively and rebellious sweetness of RedPop®.”
RedPop® for Supergirl
For the first time, RedPop® is joining forces with Supergirl in a collaboration that celebrates an idea of authentic, contemporary strength. RedPop® brings together character and personality. It attracts attention with its vibrant colours and sweet heart. It is a natural and practical apple-shaped snack that you can take with you to enjoy a moment of pleasure.
Giga® for Superman
Giga® is once again celebrating Superman. Following last season’s success, the magnificent apple par excellence honours the Super Hero who symbolises strength and positivity. Giga® stands out for its impressive appearance, extraordinary resistance and naturally generous flavour: crunchy, intense and balanced, designed to accompany social moments of sharing. Two distinct but complementary paths, ready to highlight and convey each brand’s characteristic features to consumers and enthusiasts. For both partnerships, marketing activities are planned for the summer period in selected European markets, with dedicated initiatives in the retail sector and in consumer contexts. The partnerships involve the use of selected assets, developed with a coordinated approach, linked to Superman and Supergirl, including the famous S-Shield, which will appear on stickers and materials connected to Giga® and RedPop® products, with the aim of creating distinctive visibility and putting its stamp on a summer packed with flavour and adventure.
