The ROEN Fruit Growers’ Cooperative was formed through the merger of the two cooperatives EGMA (Caldaro) and Eofrut (Termeno), whose roots date back to the 1950s and 1960s.

In 2026, a further merger followed with the Kurmark-Unifrut Fruit Growers’ Cooperative. Today, the cooperative has 950 members, who cultivate nearly 2.000 hectares of orchards and deliver around 110.000 tonnes of apples each year. The members’ orchards of the ROEN Fruit Growers’ Cooperative are spread across large parts of the South Tyrolean Oltradige and Bassa Atesina, extending from Salorno toCaldaro.
