Daughter of the Alps

It was on 21 October 1995 that Marlene® made its first appearance in the apple world. Ever since then, Marlene® has been the VOG Consortium's chief quality mark on the domestic and international market. Marlene® apples' unique flavour is the outcome of the perfect symbiosis between the Alpine climate and the Mediterranean sun, an exclusive prerogative of South Tyrol - Südtirol. Here, on the sunny, Italian side of the Alps, Marlene® apples are grown with the utmost care and passion. There are no limits on the varieties grown: from sweet and juicy to red, yellow or green, Marlene® offers apples for all tastes.

And that is not all: virtually no other brand imposes higher quality standards, works harder to conserve the environment or achieves greater customer satisfaction. The seven standard Marlene® varieties Royal Gala, Golden Delicious, Granny Smith, Stayman Winesap, Braeburn, Red Delicious and Fuji carry the EU “South Tyrolean Apple PGI” (Protected Geographical Indication) label, proof that they originate from South Tyrol - Südtirol.
